Act II: Truth in the Stones

Head to the mining site that Uncle Dai mentioned. Teleport to the Lisha Waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination), south of Lingju Pass, then glide west over the river to the other platform. Continue west until you reach the mining site and approach Uncle Dai for a scene. You will learn that four miners—Long, Bold Cen, Brave Cen, and Mao—have vanished without a trace.

Look for clues at the mining site. The first clue is north by a tool rack with pickaxes and shovels. Zhongli deduces the missing miners took their pickaxes but no supplies, and have been missing for six days without a change of clothes. Zhongli suggests kidnapping is a probability.

Look for more clues. Head north-east to find Kun Jun by a rock. He discovers ore that holds memories. He sees a vision of the four miners following a small girl and deduces they went north. Speak to the miner Bravo to the south, who explains he was left behind and fell asleep, only to wake up with them gone. Zhongli suggests an on-site accident.

Report the outcome of your investigation to Uncle Dai. Return to Uncle Dai and report your findings, omitting Kun Jun's vision. You focus on the kidnapping theory and mention they headed north. Uncle Dai agrees to let you help and will search nearby lodgings while you follow the clues. Zhongli notes they are likely long gone. Kun Jun has disappeared.

Find Kun Jun. Head north again to where the tool rack was. Kun Jun is standing on a rock. He is searching for a precious stone called “Dragonfall” to help with his recent absent-mindedness and anxiety, as it felt familiar. Zhongli agrees to help him look for it, noting that traces would be found north of the chasm. The quest ends after this scene.
