Forest Rendezvous

Follow our Genshin Impact guide to complete the Forest Rendezvous quest. Learn how to explore new menus, level up your Traveler, and progress towards Mondstadt.

Hey there! So you've just started Genshin Impact and you're looking to tackle the 'Forest Rendezvous' quest. It's pretty straightforward, but there are a few things you'll want to get a handle on right away. Think of this as your friendly nudge to get you going!

First off, after you've completed the initial steps, you'll unlock some new menus. Don't just ignore them! Take a peek at your Character menu to see your stats, the Friends menu to connect with others, and definitely check out the Party Setup to figure out your ideal team. You'll also get your mail – don't forget to claim those reward items; they can really give you a boost early on.

Keep an eye on the Achievements book too. You'll get rewards, often Primogems, just for playing the game and hitting certain milestones. Most of these will pop up naturally as you adventure, so don't stress too much about them right now, but it's good to know they're there.

Before heading straight to Mondstadt, it's a good idea to level up your Traveler a bit. We found leveling them to around 15 was helpful, but try to save some of those EXP books if you can. Once you feel ready, start making your way towards the city of Mondstadt. The quest will guide you from there!
