Electro Hypostasis

Learn how to defeat the Electro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact. This guide covers its attacks, weaknesses, and strategies for victory.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Element: Electro
• Weaknesses: While it's immune to Electro, it's vulnerable to Cryo and Geo attacks when its core is exposed. Physical damage is also effective.
• Resistances: Immune to Electro.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Standard Combat
   The Electro Hypostasis will float around the arena, using various attacks. Its core is protected by its shell pieces.
2. Phase 2: Imprisonment
   The boss will trap you in an electro-charged cage and bombard you with meteors. This is a key phase to deal damage.
3. Phase 3: Re-Summoning (if applicable)
   If the boss isn't defeated quickly enough, it may attempt to re-summon itself. You'll need to interrupt this process.

Strategy:

• Dodging is Key: Most of the Electro Hypostasis's attacks can be dodged by simply moving or dashing. Pay attention to its animations to anticipate its moves.
• Missiles: When it elevates and fires missiles, just keep moving. You don't even need to dash for these.
• Lasers: It forms a ring and fires lasers. You can either sprint in a circle around the ring or stand inside it and dash out just before the shell pieces converge on the core. The core is vulnerable while the ring spins.
• Drill: A straightforward dash attack. Dodge it as it charges across the arena.
• Rock, Paper, Scissors: It attacks with a fist, scissors, and a ground slap. Dodge each of these with a dash.
• Cage: This is your best damage window! It traps you and drops meteors. Attack the pillars with elemental damage (especially Cryo or Geo) to break the cage. Once broken, the core is exposed and you can unleash your attacks.
• Elemental Reactions: While it's immune to Electro, triggering reactions like Superconduct (Cryo + Electro) can be useful for physical damage dealers. Geo constructs can also block its attacks and provide a platform.
• Resin Cost: After defeating the Electro Hypostasis, you'll need to spend 40 Original Resin at the Trounce Blossom to claim your rewards, which include Artifacts and Character Ascension Materials for Electro characters.
• Respawn Timer: The Electro Hypostasis respawns approximately 3 minutes after you claim your rewards.
