Temple of the Wolf

This ruin used to be a temple devoted to the Wolf of the North. Now, the priests are gone, and the temple has been seized by monsters. However, they say that the spirit of the Wolf still watches over the endless fields of Mondstadt from someplace else.

This Domain has three trials, but you can only complete two in a single attempt. You'll need to run the Domain multiple times to get all possible rewards.

Enemies and Trials

• Hydro Trial: Cryo Slimes, Large Cryo Slimes, Hilichurl Fighters, Cryo Abyss Mage.
• Electro Trial: Wooden Shield Mitachurl, Hilichurl Fighters, Electro Hilichurl Shooters, Fatui Electro Cicin Mage.
• Pyro Trial: Pyro Slimes, Large Pyro Slimes, Hilichurl Fighters, Pyro Abyss Mage.

Recommended Party

A balanced party with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro characters is recommended, as each trial features different enemies with specific weaknesses. Anemo is not essential.

Domain Overview

Upon entering the Domain, defeat the initial enemies to unlock the contraption. Start by attacking the Hydro Orbs to create a rain field, applying the Wet status to enemies. Then, use Electro characters to trigger the Electro-Charged status, dealing continuous AoE damage. After this, interact with the contraption to choose your first trial.

Chests are hidden throughout the rooms. One chest is located on a raised platform on the west side. To reach it, stand on the slightly raised platform near the Door of Resurrection, jump diagonally to the open ledge, then jump onto a crate and onto the second raised platform.

Hydro Trial Details

The first encounter involves one Large Cryo Slime and three normal Cryo Slimes. Pyro attacks are highly effective. If you choose the Hydro Trial a second time, you'll face a Cryo Abyss Mage and three Hilichurl Fighters. Attack the central Hydro Orb to create a rain field, then use Electro for Electro-Charged status. Switch to Pyro to finish them off.

Attacking Hydro Orbs creates a rain-like field that applies the Wet status to enemies.

Electro Trial Details

This trial pits you against one Wooden Shield Mitachurl, two Hilichurl Fighters, and two Electro Hilichurl Shooters. Use Cryo or Hydro against the smaller enemies and Pyro against the Mitachurl. If you select the Electro Trial again, you will face a Fatui Electro Cicin Mage. Start with Cryo to apply Superconduct status for AoE damage, then switch to Pyro to finish. Cryo is also effective against the Cicin Mage's summons.

Pyro Trial Details

In this trial, four metallic machines spew fire. Fight between two machines to avoid the fire. You must defeat two Large Pyro Slimes and two normal Pyro Slimes. Cryo and Electro are strong choices here; Cryo triggers Melt for increased damage, and Hydro causes Vaporize. If you choose the Pyro Trial a second time, you'll encounter a Pyro Abyss Mage and four Hilichurl Fighters. Use Hydro first for the Wet status, then switch to Cryo for the Frozen status. Hydro is effective against the Pyro Abyss Mage's shield, and Electro can trigger Overload.
