Alright, so you've finished up the main 'Tatara Tales' questline? Awesome! Now, it's time to help out Xavier with his research on the Mikage Furnace. He's got some new ideas brewing, and we need to gather some data to see if they'll work.

Walkthrough

First things first, head back and chat with Xavier. He'll fill you in on what's next.

After your conversation, open up your map. You'll see a few marked locations – these are where you need to go to place the Sensor beacons.

Travel to each of these marked spots. They're usually pretty close to the Mikage Furnace area, so it shouldn't take too long to get around.

At each location, interact with the spot to place down a Sensor beacon. These little gadgets will start gathering data on the Mikage Furnace.

Once you've placed all three Sensor beacons, make your way back to Xavier. Talk to him again to wrap up this part of the quest.

Tips

The game will guide you to the exact spots for the beacons, so just follow your map markers!
After you report back to Xavier, you'll need to wait until the next real-life day to continue with the next part of the 'Tatara Tales' questline. Plan accordingly!

Completing this step will allow you to progress to the next part of the 'Tatara Tales' questline, which will become available the following day.
