Further Observation

Find Collei

First things first, head up the wooden path in Gandharva Ville to find Collei. You'll catch her chatting with Tighnari. She's a bit bummed because she didn't get the patrol logs for the day, and Tighnari thinks the patrol might be too much for her. You and Paimon jump in and offer to help with their patrols. Tighnari suggests you team up with Collei for a patrol in the southern rainforest. Amir calls out, signaling they're ready, and Tighnari leaves the details to Collei.

Collei explains that Forest Ranger duties can be pretty varied, even if Paimon thinks cleaning the Statue of the Seven sounds a bit odd for a ranger.

Check the lamps along the path

Once that chat wraps up, head out of the village and follow the path east. You'll find the first lamp to check near a pack mule on your right. Keep going down the path, and the next lamp will be on your left. The third and final lamp is a bit further down on your right. After checking all three, it's time to head to the Statue of the Seven.

Go to the Statue of the Seven

The Statue of the Seven is perched atop a large rock formation to your south. As you get closer, a scene will trigger. Collei points out the rock formation. She mentions that if climbing it seems too daunting, Tighnari won't mind if the statue doesn't get cleaned. You, being the adventurous type, say you're up for the climb.

Before you start scaling the rocks, Paimon asks Collei about the Dendro Archon. Collei clarifies if you mean Greater Lord Rukkhadevata or Lesser Lord Kusanali. She explains that Greater Lord Rukkhadevata created Sumeru's rainforests and the Wall of Samiel, bringing peace to the desert dwellers. She was known for wisdom and kindness but vanished during the Great Calamity centuries ago. Later, a new Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali, was found.

Collei isn't sure what happened after that. When Paimon wonders if it's because she's talking to strangers, Collei reassures you that she doesn't see you as strangers. She then asks if you know Amber. Upon hearing you do, Collei shares that she lived in Mondstadt and became good friends with Amber, whom she greatly admires. She keeps in touch with Amber through letters, and Amber mentioned a traveler and their companion saving Mondstadt from a dragon. Seeing you pass out earlier made Collei realize who you were, but she didn't want to pry after your tough day. This is why she considers you friends and feels comfortable sharing what little she knows about the Archons, admitting she doesn't know much more as she was away for a while and hasn't read up on them since returning.

Suddenly, Collei asks why you're interested in the Dendro Archon, prompting you to share your story. After you finish, she thanks you for trusting her, and Paimon suggests it's time to clean the Statue of the Seven. Once the scene ends, climb the rock formation to reach the statue. Paimon notices the deity carved on top seems smaller, resembling Lesser Lord Kusanali more than Greater Lord Rukkhadevata.

Meet up with Collei

After cleaning the statue, head back down and meet Collei. She'll be waiting for you near the entrance to Gandharva Ville.

Return to Gandharva Ville

Head back into Gandharva Ville with Collei.

Wait until 08:00 the following day

Once you're back in the village, you'll need to pass the time until 8:00 AM the next day. You can do this by opening your menu, selecting 'Time,' and advancing it to the desired hour.
