Act 1: The Oni's Pride

Lie in wait at Nazuchi Beach for the ronin to show up. Travel to Yashiori Island, head to Fort Fujitou, and speak with Masato. Then, go to Nazuchi Beach and wait until ronin and a Blue Oni appear.

Defeat the Ronin. Arataki Itto will join your party. Defeat the initial two ronin, then their reinforcements. A scene with the Blue Oni will follow.

Defeat the Tenryou Commission members. Focus on taking down Ishizaki while hitting others with his burst attack.

Follow the footprints and chase Takuya. Look for footprints by the water, follow them to a broken transport cart, interact with it, and defeat the surrounding ronin. Continue following footprints to an opening in a mountain leading to their hideout.

Defeat the ronin guarding this place. Enter the domain, drop down, defeat the initial ronin, and then another resting ronin. Interact with a lever to rotate stairs, allowing access to a room on the right. Climb a ladder, follow the path to a room with ronin strengthened by a statue; destroy the statue, defeat the ronin, and collect your reward from an Exquisite Chest. Follow the path to a third lever to move a platform. Continue through the unlocked door, go to the ground floor, and use the first lever to rotate a platform. Return to the third lever's location, climb a ladder to reach platforms, and ascend to the top floor. Defeat ronin strengthened by two statues, then defeat Nogata.

Tell Granny Oni everything that happened. Use the Formation Estate Fast Travel, head northwest to find Granny Oni, and speak with her to conclude Act 1.
