The Exorcist's Path

Access the Hangout Events by going to the Quest menu, then the Story sub-menu, and navigating to the second page. Select Chongyun and confirm to spend the two Story Keys to unlock "Signs of Evil".

Travel to Wanwen Bookhouse. Teleport to the upper Liyue Waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) and head southwest, up the red stairs. Approach the objective marker to trigger a scene.

Chongyun will ask you to identify the most plausible clue related to evil spirits. Choose "There’s a ghostly shadow skulking about Feiyun Slope at night. It’s suspected to be a vengeful spirit.". This choice awards +2 hearts.

Chongyun will then ask for another clue. Choose "Deep in the Sea of Clouds, a marauding demon has been raiding commercial fishing boats and building a luxurious palace.". This choice awards +2 hearts.

For the final clue, Chongyun will mention a vigilant demon in mist. Choose "There is a vigilant demon adept at concealing itself in mist. Recently, people have found traces of it in Mingyun Village, Guili Plains, and Yaoguang Shoal.". This choice awards +2 hearts.

If you have at least one heart with Chongyun, the Hangout Event will continue. You will then travel to Wuwang Hill to investigate abnormal weather.

Teleport to the lower Wuwang Hill Waypoint and head north into the wooded area. Interact with the Strange smoke to trigger a scene.

Proceed deeper into the area and interact with the Strange smoke again. You will be attacked by three menacing Hilichurls encased in a dark aura. Defeat them.

After defeating the Hilichurls, a scene will play where Chongyun explains the path ends but he still senses evil spirits. He will continue tracking them. This concludes the quest and awards Ending 1 - Blessing in Disguise.
