Walkthrough
  1. 1
Teleport to the waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) west of The Chasm or travel through The Chasm to find the cave leading into the Sumeru region.
  2. 2
Follow the cave west until you reach the Dendro region and trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).
  3. 3
After the cutscene, interact with the Statue of the Seven to reveal the map of the area.
  4. 4
Leave the Statue and follow the stream southeast towards the waterfall.
  5. 5
Enter the cave near the waterfall where you will find the unresponsive person sitting by a censer emitting gas.
  6. 6
You will start to feel faint and pass out.
  7. 7
When you awaken, head up the large tree branch in front of you.
  8. 8
After a cutscene and some evasive maneuvers, continue along the grass-covered branch.
  9. 9
You will hear a voice and pass out again.
  10. 10
When you awaken, you will be in Gandharva Ville and meet Collei, a trainee Forest Ranger, and her master, Tighnari, the Chief Officer of the Forest Rangers.
  11. 11
Tighnari explains you passed out due to the effects of Spirit Borneol incense, commonly used by scholars for meditation.

Tighnari decides you will stay for further observation due to your reaction to the incense.
