Danger All Around

Complete the Danger All Around quest in genshin impact. Learn how to solve the City of Hidden Runes domain puzzles and find Xiao.

The City of Hidden Runes Domain:

Upon entering the “City of Hidden Runes” Domain, you will encounter a tutorial explaining the rules. There are four runes in the center of the room, each with a different rune and color. Step on the correct rune to activate it; stepping on the wrong one will cause damage. Four portals on each side of the room will teleport you to other platforms.

Blue Rune:

1. Take the western portal.
2. On this platform, head to the nearest group of runes to your north and stand on the center rune to activate it. The others will cause damage.
3. Head west to a platform with two lines of three runes. Stand on the bottom middle rune, and all but the middle rune on the top line.
4. After activating these, you will battle three Geovishaps Hatchlings.
5. After the battle, a tutorial will explain that the beacon-like objects are Lightshapers, which can shine beams onto opposite platforms.
6. Activate the Lightshaper further to the south. Position its beams to match the two large blue runes in the northwest corner, then exit the Lightshaper.
7. Activate the other Lightshaper and position its beams on the two large blue runes in the southwest. This will light up the blue rune on the main platform.

Yellow Rune:

1. Take the northern portal.
2. On this platform, walk over the first rune from the southern group, the center rune from the western group, the furthest north rune from the northern group, and the center rune from the eastern group.
3. After activating these, you will battle three Rock Shieldwall Mitachurls.
4. Interact with the Lightshapers. The one with the narrower gap between beams should target the two large yellow runes to the northwest. The one with the larger gap should target the large yellow runes to the northeast. This will light up the yellow rune on the main platform.

Green Rune:

1. Make your way through the northern portal.
2. On this platform, head to the southeastern group of small green runes and activate the central rune.
3. Activate the far northeastern rune in the northeastern corner.
