- 28Understanding the Judge System: This is a big change from previous games! The Judge no longer appears on the battlefield to enforce laws. However, breaking a law has serious consequences:
- The Judge will remove themselves from the battle.
- 29Fallen allies cannot be revived using Revive or Phoenix Down.
- 30Your Clan Privilege (any boosts you have active) will be nullified for the battle.
- 31You will lose the rewards the Judge normally gives at the end of the battle.
- 32Battle Strategy: You'll start the battle alongside Cid (AI-controlled). Your main target is the large bird, Klesta. You can either focus on it directly or take out the smaller Cockatrice enemies first.
- Recommended Approach: Use Luso and Cid to attack Klesta directly. Keep your White Mage busy healing them, as Klesta's 'Territorial Marking' attack is powerful and has long range. Its 'Peck Attack' is also strong and can knock back melee fighters.
- 33Damage Dealers: Use your Black Mage to deal consistent damage to Klesta and the Cockatrice.
Tips
- Pay close attention to the forbidden actions before each battle. Breaking laws can cost you dearly in this game!
- Don't underestimate the power of healing; keeping your front-line fighters alive is crucial, especially against bosses like Klesta.
- Experiment with the initial quiz answers if you're aiming for specific starting bonuses.
