Complete Restoring Order in fallout 4's Automatron DLC. Find the RobCo Sales & Service Center Key and defeat the Mechanist's forces.
Walkthrough
- 1Enter the RobCo Sales & Service Center. Loot the main register for money and access the Novice terminal.
- 2Hack the Novice terminal to unlock the Advanced safe below.
- 3Disarm the tripwire near the nearby door and head into the basement.
- 4Locate the RobCo Sales & Service Center Key on the left near the basement door.
- 5Examine the odd terminal on the opposite wall; Ada will scan it to open the facility entrance.
- 6Proceed through the military-grade surroundings. Check lockers to the left and round the corner.
- 7To the right, pick the Advanced lock door for loot, including the “Eyebot Model”.
- 8To the left of the laser grid, steal from the Fusion Core reactor.
- 9Enter the tunnel to the left leading to an observation area by the lasers.
- 10In the observation area, check the “Security Office Terminal” for information.
- 11Hack the middle “Decontamination Control Terminal” (Advanced lock) to shut the door, turn on and then short circuit the lasers, and activate turrets.
- 12Alternatively, pick the Expert lock on the door to the left to bypass the lasers and controls.
- 13Ignore the elevator terminal with a Master lock, as it requires authorization you don't have.
- 14Pass the lasers. An Eyebot will confront and attack you; destroy it.
- 15Be ready to face four junkbot enemies below, two from each side. Shoot off their ranged weapons to make them easier to defeat.
- 16Loot the Novice locked Toolbox to the left of the security door and the Wooden Box on the right for grenades.
- 17Use the access port to the right to enter the Mechanist’s Lair: Production Wing.
- 18Loot the Novice Ammo Box on the right.
- 19Proceed down the staircase to a wide-open area. Sneak attack the Tankbot from the right side for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects).
- 20The Tankbot has supporting junkbots and a distant turret; eliminate them.
- 21Use the “Robot Control Terminal” (Novice) on the left side of the second work area to activate and destroy the robots.
- 22Continue through a work area to another room with robots above.
- 23Before engaging, check the “Chief Engineer’s Terminal” for information on Robobrain construction.
- 24Loot the Mr. Handy model and the Lead Engineer’s Holotape from the desk.
- 25Head upstairs and eliminate the two junkbots.
- 26Be aware that shooting the junkbots being produced and shipped along the ceiling will cause them to fall and initiate a fight. It is best to leave them until other enemies are dealt with.
- 27From the balcony, take out the turret on the left ledge first.
- 28As enemies approach to investigate, engage them. Use a critical hit on their legs to stop their sprint if possible.
- 29Head down into the room. As you head north, a Tankbot will approach from the ramp.
- 30Use the boxes on the right for cover while Ada distracts the Tankbot. Shoot off its arms to destroy it.
- 31Once the Tankbot is destroyed, head up the ramp and hit the button to extend the walkway.
- 32Follow the walkway to another room containing a First Aid Box and an Ammo Box on a table.
- 33Use the access port here, then follow the hallway to another access port.
- 34Check the cabinet on the left for a Novice Toolbox.
- 35As you round the corner, kill the Eyebot and the robots that follow it.
- 36Follow the path to a split. Going right leads to a terminal with flavor text. Otherwise, go straight, killing the mech pretending to be disabled.
Tips
- When fighting junkbots, shooting off their ranged weapons makes them easier to defeat.
- Consider quicksaving before the fight in the wide-open area of the Production Wing.
- Use the environment, such as boxes for cover, when fighting larger enemies like the Tankbot.
- If you hack the Decontamination Control Terminal, you can turn on the lasers to short circuit them.
