    The Gilded Grasshopper: Fast-travel to the Old North Church. Head west to find a green door leading to a Boxing Gym. Inside, you can find weights for lead, a Novice Footlocker, and an Advanced Safe. West of the gym, you'll find a cemetery and the Mean Pastries shop. In the graveyard, search "Shem Drowne’s Grave" to find loot in the sarcophagus, including a Gold Bar, Copper Bars, Silver Bars, the note “Fear Not,” and the unique “Shem Drowne Sword.” The Mean Pastries shop contains little of value.

    Pickman Gallery - Initial Exploration: Return east to the Boxing Gym and head north, passing a truck. Turn west, go through a fence, and enter an alley filled with Raiders. Defeat them and enter Pickman Gallery through a red door. Inside, kill the Raiders near the stairs and go north to find a dead Raider. Loot the “Message to Jack” holotape to learn about Pickman.

    Pickman Gallery - Deeper Exploration: Return to Goodneighbor and report to Hancock for a reward (195 XP, 200-400 Caps). Return to Pickman Gallery. From the room with the holotape, head east through double doors (Novice lock) or bypass them. Kill any Raiders inside and loot an Ammo Box, First Aid Box, and search Pickman’s victims for “Pickman’s Calling Card.” A Master-locked door to the south offers a shortcut.

    Navigating the Lower Levels: If you can't pick the Master lock, head up the stairs near the entrance. The second floor has a Tripwire rigged to a gun. On the third floor, kill Raiders and disarm another Tripwire (possibly rigged to a Missile Launcher). Head east, go through a hole in the wall to the north, and descend a hole, avoiding a Frag Mine. Continue down several levels until you reach stone ground.

    Confronting Raiders and Pickman: Raiders will come down stairs to the south; defeat them. Head east down ladders and through a hole in the wall. Continue east down a tunnel, then north to find a Raider leader calling out Pickman. Enter his chamber, kill him, and loot an Ammo Box. Head west to find a Suitcase.

    Reaching Pickman: Return to the circular chamber and head south-east down stairs, then south-west and drop off a ledge near a pipe. Crawl through water and head east, then north-east up a dirt mound. Kill Raiders on high ground, then proceed north-east through water to find stairs. Head up and south, cross pipes, and follow a curving path north-east to encounter more Raiders and a turret. Defeat them.

    Final Approach: Head west up stairs, then down a tunnel south-west, then another south-east. Follow pipes south-east, looting Nuka Cola Quantums. Enter a small chamber with a Frag Mine. Proceed north-east, silencing another Raider calling for Pickman, then kill his companion and turret. Continue up stairs to find a Mattress, loot an Ammo Box, and head west down a tunnel, then north, and finally west along a pipe.

    The Encounter: You will find Slab and his Raider companions talking to Pickman. Quickly eliminate the Raiders before Pickman is killed. Speak with Pickman. He will give you “Pickman’s Key” and instruct you to return to his “house” later.

    Looting Pickman Gallery: Near a trash can with a fire between stone pillars, find the Lock Picking Bobblehead. To the west, find a Steamer Trunk and a copy of Astoundingly Awesome Tales on the ground nearby.

    Exiting the Gallery: Head up a tunnel to the north-west and climb a ladder to exit Pickman’s Gallery.

  • When looting Shem Drowne’s Grave, you will receive 455 XP.
