Cranberry Island and Huntress Island

Navigate Cranberry Island and Huntress Island in Fallout 4. Discover locations, find Eliza's notes, repair generators, and uncover the secrets of the Gibbons family.

Brave explorers! From Brooke’s Head Lighthouse, head east-northeast along a road to reach Waves Crest Orphanage. Loot houses along the way. Inside the orphanage, you'll find a few Ghouls and a Steamer Trunk on the second floor. North of the orphanage, you can kill a giant Hermit Crab. Continue north along the road, looting houses until you reach docks and warehouses across from the Vim! Pop Factory. These docks were once a Trapper haven, now overrun with Feral Ghouls. Loot the area, including a Fusion Core in a generator.

Next, head east to Cranberry Island. Start at the northern-most map marker. Kill wildlife and loot a warehouse containing a Tarberry press and the note “Eliza Map of Home”, which outlines a route connecting three electrical signals in an “S” formation. This island is a treasure hunt for Eliza’s junk.

Find a beach green boat nearby and search its cabin for two Safes (Novice and Expert). Return to shore, climb a ramp to the back of a semi-truck, and search a cart for an Explosives Box. Further east, a ramp leads into a shipping crate. Go up stairs to a roof to find an Ammo Box and a dead Trapper. Drop down and enter the building below. At the northern end, find “Eliza Journal 1”. Another copy can be found across the street in a warehouse; head upstairs and search a metal shelf near a First Aid Box. If you take one journal, the other becomes “Eliza Journal 2”. Grab both.

Continue east along the coast to a power plant guarded by Wolves. Search the yellow cylinders for a Circuit Board that needs repair (requires 4 Circuitry, Perception 6, or Luck). Head southeast and activate a Circuit Breaker on a horizontal yellow cylinder. Find “Eliza Journal 3” on the corner of the generator’s concrete slab.

Backtrack to Cranberry Island Docks and head south down a road to a yellow truck. Follow the dirt road and enter the western-most of two ruined houses to find “Eliza Journal 4” on a bed. Head southwest to another ruined house to find “Eliza Journal 5” on a table.

Continue southwest to a second generator platform with a Yao Guai. Kill it, repair a pipe on the vertical cylinder (requires 5 Steel, Strength 7, or Luck), and activate another Circuit Breaker on a generator. Find “Eliza Journal 6” on a patio table to the southwest.

Return northeast to the dirt road, then east until it bisects a paved road. Veer east where the road becomes a bridge to reach a building with three rows of tables. Search the western end of the middle table, near a scale, for “Eliza Journal 7”.

This building is on the outskirts of the Cranberry Island Bog. Search the southern end of the bog for another generator near a bridge. Repair wires (requires 6 Copper, Intelligence 5, or Luck) and activate a nearby Circuit Breaker.

Return across the boat and wooden walkway to the north, then head west at a giant yellow farming machine to a shack. A powered door, now active from the island’s three generators, can be opened. Inside, find the Ghoulified remains of the Gibbons family (Victoria, Patrick, Frederick, and Steven Gibbons). Loot two First Aid Boxes, two Damaged Hazmat Suits, the “Eliza Family Drawing”, and a Footlocker containing the “Cranberry Island Shed Key” and the “Cranberry Island Supplies Note”.

Return to the generator to the south-southeast, climb a hill east, then turn south. Follow the road northeast until you reach the Cranberry Island Supply Shed map marker. Kill Mirelurks and use the shed key to open the door for a stash of supplies.
