Super Mutant Skyscraper

Explore the Mass Chemical building, which contains nondescript lootables and Meat Bags. You can hack a Novice Terminal near the door to release a Protectron. The building has two exits: one southeastern and one upper exit leading to the roof. From the roof, you can engage Super Mutants below or drop northwest.

If you exit Mass Chemical via the southeastern door, prepare for a fight against approximately half a dozen Super Mutants and several Mutant Hounds patrolling the ruined skyscraper grounds. Clearing the construction site grounds first is advised.

Head east from Mass Chemical to find the Construction Site Warehouse. This building also shows signs of Super Mutant infestation and may house a Super Mutant upstairs.

To enter the Super Mutant Skyscraper, take the stairs along the northwestern side. An alternative is to ascend rubble south of the skyscraper to reach a nearby building's roof, then use a beam to access the skyscraper.

In the skyscraper lobby, you will face a Machinegun Turret and a Super Mutant. Ascend the stairs, encountering Super Mutants one at a time.

When the stairs are blocked by rubble, use a rubble ramp in the eastern corner to proceed.

Be wary of Super Mutants on upper floors who may take potshots at you. Find another rubble ramp on the northwestern end of the floor.

Follow makeshift walkways around the building to find two more rubble ramps, with one in the western corner offering more stable footing.

Climb two more flights of stairs to reach the top surviving floor. Defeat the leveled Super Mutant here and claim the loot from a Steamer Trunk.

Return to the previous floor and cross narrow planks in front of the elevator to find an improvised bridge leading to the highway.

On the highway, you can turn northwest to find a trailer truck with a Master lock, which contains a Steamer Trunk.

Follow the highway southeast to cross the river and reach the Garden Terrace area, though this is not recommended due to difficult enemies.

Return to the skyscraper lobby and open the elevator door. You cannot go up, but you can drop down the elevator shaft to access the flooded basement.

In the basement, search for a Steamer Trunk and exit via the chained door.
