This guide covers several key locations in the Nahant area of Fallout 4, including Croup Manor, Nahant Chapel, Nahant Oceanological Society, Nahant Oceanological Research Lab, Nahant Sheriff's Department, and Libertalia. Follow the steps to find loot, defeat enemies, and potentially claim settlements.

1. Croup Manor: Head east along the shore. Clear out Ghouls outside and inside, including a leveled Glowing One on the third floor. Unlock doors with Novice, Advanced, and Master locks to find safes, keys (Croup Bedroom Key, Croup Basement Key), and loot. Activate the Workshop on the west end to claim it as a settlement.
2. Nahant Chapel: Travel south from Croup Manor to a road running east. Follow the road and be prepared for random encounters. Find the chapel and defeat the Mirelurk Queen behind it. Loot a Steamer Trunk on the second floor and another in a house south-west of the chapel.
3. Nahant Oceanological Society: Continue south-east from the chapel. Enter the main house and find a Novice Research Terminal. Loot a First Aid Box and a Mirror in the bathroom. Find a copy of the Wasteland Survival Guide on a desk. Upstairs, loot an office, and go through an Expert door to find a Steamer Trunk, Duffle Bag, and Advanced Safe. Drop through a hole in the floor to reach the back of the building. Find a shack with a Novice red door containing components and an Ammo Box.
4. Nahant Oceanological Research Lab: Head south-west from the Society. Find a Master Steamer Trunk near the door. The bottom floor is partially flooded; defeat the Mirelurk fighting a Mr. Handy. Loot shelves for an Ammo Box and Toolbox. Find another Ammo Box on Cabinets and a Research Terminal. Loot an Expert wall Safe and a Novice First Aid Box. Find an Ammo Box on nearby shelves. To find Casey's Key, head east to the sea, deal with Mirelurks, and find a capsized boat. Loot the Toolbox in the cabin for the key, which opens the Expert door to the upstairs office in the Nahant Oceanological Society house.
5. Nahant Sheriff's Department: Travel west along the southern shore. Find the Sheriff's Department and a random encounter on the bottom floor. On the top floor, use the "Nahant Sheriff Evidence Terminal" to access "Winter Holotape Logs" and find Eddie Winter Holotape #5 on a Filing Cabinet.
6. Libertalia: Continue south past dockside warehouses to Nahant Wharf. Look south into the sea to see Libertalia, a Raider stronghold formed by linked ships culminating in a large, capsized ship. Fight through Raiders on the linked ships to reach the goal. Cross a pontoon bridge to the first barge, occupied by Raiders. In the house to the east, find an Expert cage door behind which are Ammo Boxes, a Chem Box, a Wooden Crate, and an Advanced Safe. Find a First Aid Box in a small room.
