Walkthrough
- 1Enter the Electrical Hobbyists Club and proceed to the back room. Be cautious of two Laser Trip Wires on the right.
- 2In the open room, disarm the bathroom scale near the table and the Tesla Arc on the table. Disarm the Frag Mine further in.
- 3Proceed down the hallway, disarming Laser Tripwires one by one to avoid the turret. A Master lock on the east side leads outside.
- 4Head down into the cellar. Disarm the tripwire on the stairs (it fires a missile).
- 5Defeat the Assaultron in the cellar.
- 6Disarm another bathroom scale in the cellar.
- 7Check the toolbox on the north side for an Overdue Book and a Bobby Pin Box on the north-west table.
- 8At the back of the cellar, disarm the tripwire in the doorway and the laser trip wire on the shelf (these trigger a bomb and a turret).
- 9Collect three Holotapes from the table: “Hobby Club Message MAR15”, “Hobby Club Message MAR28”, and “Hobby Club Message APR21”. The terminal here has little use currently.
- 10Follow the freeway south until you find two houses where a random encounter may occur. Loot the houses.
- 11Continue south; your objective will change to the far southwest corner of the map, indicating you are approaching the “Glowing Sea”.
- 12Put on your Hazmat Suit and/or Power Armor. Be prepared for Deathclaws, Legendary Deathclaws, Radscorpions, and Feral Ghouls in the Glowing Sea.
- 13Head west/south-west to Federal Supply Cache 84NE. Kill the inactive Machine Gun Turrets outside.
- 14Inside the cache, loot the area. Activate the circuit breaker to turn on lights and turrets, and activate two Protectron Units which will turn hostile.
- 15Use the Expert terminal inside to open a security door leading to goodies and a Weapon Crafting station.
- 16Continue south/southwest to the Abandoned Shack.
- 17Inside the shack, find “Bill’s Suitcase” containing the “Installation K-21B Key” and the “Evacuation Plan”.
- 18Use the key to open the hatch and enter Installation K-21B.
- 19At the first guard post, check the desk for the “Employee 011985TP Personal Log”.
- 20In the large room beyond, defeat the few Synth enemies.
- 21Head down the stairs to the second floor, then around to the stairs to the first floor.
- 22Use the circuit breaker on the first floor to power the elevator and shut down two Protectrons.
- 23Find the Novice terminal to the left of the big computer and the Advanced safe down and to the right.
- 24Collect the **U.S. Covert Operations Manual** to the left of the terminal and the Power Armor in the corner.
- 25Use the elevator to return to the world map, exiting near the “Federal Surveillance Center K-21B” (formerly Abandoned Shack).
- 26Head west towards the Forgotten Church. Be wary of a potential Deathclaw encounter.
- 27Enter the Forgotten Church through a hole in the roof and follow the ramp down to find a Steamer Trunk.
