BADTFL Regional Office: Charlestown

Make your way to the BADTFL Regional Office building, located just left after the third intersection. Dispatch any Raiders outside.

Enter the building. You can proceed through a north doorway or east double doors.

If you go through the east doors, descend stairs, turn left (north), and enter a room with File Cabinets. Defeat the two Raiders inside.

You have two options: hack an Expert Terminal to activate a Protectron against enemies, or position yourself in the northeastern corner to defend against Raiders attacking from a northern hole in the wall. Their leader, Sparta, may be among them.

Proceed north through the hole in the wall into a cell area. Defeat any Raiders present, including Sparta if they didn't attack earlier.

Be cautious of more Raiders potentially behind doors and up stairs to the west.

Hack a Novice Terminal to view prisoner files. Loot a Caps Stash and the Eddie Winter Holotape 0 from file cabinets against the west wall. This holotape is for the quest [Long Time Coming].

You can unlock a Novice cell door where a Settler might be held captive. Freeing them has little reward and they will follow you.

Pass through double doors and ascend stairs. You will likely encounter a Raider and an Attack Dog.

In a large office to the west, defeat two more Raiders.

Return to the room with the stairs leading to the jail. To the west is a hallway. To the south are smaller stairs leading to the evidence locker.

Go down the hallway to the west and note a Novice locked door to the south. Pick the lock to enter a bathroom.

Open the stall door to find the Chief’s Key on top of a toilet tank cover.

Exit the bathroom and continue west into the large office room. You may encounter more Raiders. Loot the room.

Ascend stairs to the south to reach a doorway leading to the evidence locker.

Turn your attention to the western wall where you'll find two rooms and a partitioned office.
