Discover Oberland Station and its surrounding areas in Fallout 4. Guide covers Relay Tower 1DL-109, the Alien Blaster location, Beantown Brewery, and Raider Troubles.

This guide covers the areas surrounding Oberland Station in Fallout 4, including Relay Tower 1DL-109, the location of the Alien Blaster, and the Beantown Brewery.

  1. Relay Tower 1DL-109: Head east from the bridge and uphill southeast to find the tower. Activate the terminal to receive radio signals: "Garbled Radio Beacon", "Distress Signal", and "Boston City Works Beacon". Play the "Boston City Works Beacon" first. Return west across the bridge, looking south for a blue door to the "Operations" area. Loot the initial room for a Wooden Crate [Novice]. In the southwest corner, find a trap door to the Reactor Level. Head east to find the Ham Radio, turn it off, then go west to find a Tool Chest [Novice] and junk near a leaky reactor. Return to the surface.
  2. Distress Signal: Go back to Relay Tower 1DL-109. Play the "Distress Signal" on your Pip-Boy. Head southeast towards the train tracks and follow them south. Locate an overturned blue boxcar. On its western side, find a hatch on the roof hidden behind a bush. Enter the boxcar, loot the Wooden Crate [Novice], and find the body of the woman from the radio. Continue following the tracks south-southeast to a white tower. Find a trap door leading to a Waystation with another deceased individual. Loot melee weapons and return to Relay Tower 1DL-109.
  3. Alien Blaster: Tune your Pip-Boy to the "Garbled Radio Beacon" and follow the signal northeast to Oberland Station. Continue east past the station to find broken trees and a smoking trench with a crashed UFO. Examine the wreckage. Head northeast over mushroom-covered rocks, then descend a dirt slope between two rock formations to find a cave to the north. Inside, kill the hostile Alien and loot it for the Alien Blaster and Alien Blaster Ammo. With four ranks in the Science! perk, it can be modified to use Fusion Cells.
  4. Oberland Station & Raider Troubles: Return to Oberland Station. A Settler will ask for help with Raiders at Back Street Apparel, starting the quest "Raider Troubles at Oberlund". This quest may also be given by Preston after "First Steps".
  5. Beantown Brewery: North of Oberland Station is Beantown Brewery, occupied by Raiders. There are two entrances: an unlocked single door on the east side and locked double doors [Advanced] on the west. Enter and head west to the reception room. Raiders may be in this room or the gift shop to the north. Go upstairs west, then north down a hallway to the brewery floor. From here, you can go east to a metal walkway and stairs down, west to a metal walkway with stairs down south or west (beware of tripwires and explosives on the western path), or up stairs, across a metal walkway, and into a concrete structure where the Raider leader, Tower Tom, resides. Other Raiders are on the factory floor and metal walkway. On the ground floor, a tunnel in the southwest corner leads to stairs. Ascend these stairs and enter a passage west, then ascend concrete stairs south where two more Raiders are. Go through a door east [Novice] into a small office with Radroaches and a Terminal.
