Road to Freedom

Old Corner Bookstore: Head north from Diamond City, watch for Mongrels. Find the fifth Freedom Trail Marker (code 3I) in front of the Old Corner Bookstore. Inside, loot a Caps Stash behind the counter, "Help Wanted" and "Racetrack Advertisement" notes, a Bobby Pin Box, and a Nuka Cola Quantum. On the upper level, find a first aid kit.

Haymarket Mall: Head north from the Old Corner Bookstore to find the Raider-occupied Haymarket Mall. Clear out the Raiders, including one with a Missile Launcher. Inside, use the "Advanced" Security Terminal in a small eastern room to activate turrets and Protectrons. Loot a Raider for the Haymarket Mall Key. In an upstairs north-eastern room, find a floor Safe [Expert]. Ascend stairs at the southern end to find a Duffle Bag near a skeleton.

Haymarket Mall Roof: Take the elevator on the western side of the upper level to the roof. Fight Raiders and hostile Protectrons/Turrets. Access the office area via a locked door [Novice] or a northern hallway. Use the "Office Terminal" to control machines. Find an [Expert] Safe in a smaller eastern office. Reach the roof via a rubble ramp in the northern-most conjoined office room to the south.

Garden Terrace (Deathclaw): Atop the Haymarket Mall roof, defeat the leveled Deathclaw. Loot a Steamer Trunk in a north-eastern building. Take an elevator down to a floor with an [Advanced] Safe. Cross wooden planks and railway cars to find a second Steamer Trunk and defeat a Protectron.

Congress Street Station: Return to the Haymarket Mall lobby, go downstairs, and through a doorway east, then south to an [Expert] locked door leading to Congress Street Station. In the parking garage, head south down a ramp and take an elevator up. Cross a broken floor east to a door leading to the Commonwealth Bank. Inside the bank, find an [Novice] Safe in a southern office. Use the [Expert] Terminal behind the northern counter to open a Security Door with Pre-War Money and two Safes ([Advanced] and [Expert]). Continue east, then north, then west to a door [Advanced] leading to a bathroom with a First Aid Box. Return through Haymarket Mall to the Old Corner Bookstore.

Mass Fusion Building: Head west from the Old Corner Bookstore through rubble to the Mass Fusion Building. Defeat Gunners outside and inside. Head upstairs and turn north to a series of small rooms. Use the [Advanced] Security Terminal in the western-most room to gain control of Protectrons and Turrets.
