Monster parts are essential materials in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, primarily used for upgrading armor at Great Fairy Fountains. Most armor sets require a combination of plant-based ingredients and monster parts specific to certain enemy lines. For instance, the Barbarian Armor set necessitates Lynel parts, which are best tackled by experienced players. Some armor sets, like the Stealth armor, do not use monster parts at all. Beyond armor upgrades, monster parts can also be used to craft elixirs or to enhance the power of weapons.
There are fifteen categories of monsters that drop materials, including a miscellaneous group for enemies that don't fit elsewhere.
