How to Complete Investigate The Thyphlo Ruins

Alright, so you've stumbled upon the "Investigate The Thyphlo Ruins" side adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Don't worry, it's not as daunting as it sounds! To get started, you'll need to have finished the main quest "Regional Phenomena," which means you've conquered the first four temples. Once that's done, head over to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower and find Kazul, who's chilling out nearby. Chatting with him is your first step!

Kazul will then reveal four monoliths scattered around the area. Each one holds a riddle and kicks off a new side adventure. You'll be looking for these four: "The Owl Protected By Dragons," "The Corridor Between The Two Dragons," "The Six Dragons," and "The Long Dragon."

To tackle each of these, you'll need to visit specific spots within the Thyphlo Ruins and use the abilities of your Sages. Here's a quick rundown:

• The Owl Statue: Head to the location marked as "The owl statue" on your map. Once you're there, just use Tulin's Gust ability right in front of it. Easy peasy!
• The Two Dragons: Make your way to the spot marked "The two dragons." Here, you'll want to send Yunobo charging straight in between the two parallel dragons.
• The Six Dragons: For this one, go to the area indicated by "The six dragons." You'll need to use Sidon's water bubble ability first, and then follow up with a charged sword attack.
• The Long Dragon: Finally, travel to the location for "The long dragon." Here, you'll use Riju's lightning ability and then shoot an arrow.

After you successfully complete each of these mini-adventures, a treasure chest will pop up from a nearby square tile. Make sure to grab the loot inside!

Once all four of those are done, a fifth square tile will appear at the spot marked with a '5' on the diagram. This tile hides an entrance to an underground passage. Head inside, and you'll find a chest containing a Dusk Claymore. Even better, there's a final monolith there that Kazul has been searching for. Examine it to wrap up the "Investigate The Thyphlo Ruins" adventure and snag yourself a Large Zonai Charge, a Big Battery (Capsule), and a Diamond. Plus, don't forget all the other treasure you picked up along the way!
