Discover how to reach the Camobatures Lightroot in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Follow these steps to navigate Hyrule Castle and the Depths.
Alright, so you're looking to snag the Camobatures Lightroot in Hyrule's Depths, huh? It's not too tricky once you know the path, but you'll need to have tackled the Wind Temple first. If you haven't yet, go check out our guide on how to get to the Wind Temple and beat Colgera – that's your first big step.
Once you've got Tulin's Power of Wind ability from beating the Wind Temple, make your way to the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. Use it to launch yourself way up into the sky. As soon as you're free, turn north and start gliding towards Hyrule Castle. You'll want to use Tulin's Power of Wind pretty much right away to give yourself a speed boost. Keep in mind it has a little cooldown, so time it well to make sure you get as far as possible before you need to glide normally.
When you finally land on Hyrule Castle grounds, your target is the Serutabomac Shrine. It's located in the northeastern part of the castle. You'll have to dodge some Gloom as you go, but the path is pretty clear. If you're ever unsure, there's a map marker showing its exact spot.
Now, if you're thinking about skipping the Wind Temple or just want another way to get to Hyrule Castle, you've got a couple of options. You could use Autobuild to create a dirigible, or even a hot air balloon. You can find most of the parts for the balloon around Lookout Landing. Either of these will let you fly over the castle and then glide down into it.
Once you've made it to the Serutabomac Shrine on Hyrule Castle, getting to the Camobatures Lightroot is a piece of cake. Just head to the cliff edge on the northwest side of the shrine and take a leap of faith straight down into the Hyrule Castle Chasm. The Lightroot is almost directly below you, so it's really hard to miss. If you want to see it in action, there's a video linked that shows the whole process!
