Need help with the 'A Picture for Foothill Stable' side quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Follow our guide to find Goron City and snap the perfect photo for Ozunda.
Hey there! So, you're looking to tackle the 'A Picture for Foothill Stable' side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Stables are super useful for storing your horses and offer a safe place to rest, but they also hide little quests like this one. You'll know a stable has a quest when you spot a blank picture frame on the wall. Let's get this done!
Where to Start:
This quest kicks off at the Foothill Stable, located in the Eldin Canyon area. If you've already unlocked the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower, the stable is just to the east of it, past Lake Ferona. Before you head in, make sure you have the Camera! If you haven't gotten it yet, you'll need to progress the main quest 'Camera Work in the Depths' until you do.
How to Complete the Quest:
Once you're inside the Foothill Stable, chat with Ozunda, the owner. He'll tell you he wants to hang a painting of the Goron Champion, Daruk, but he can't leave the stable. Your job is to go get a picture of a specific statue of Daruk near Goron City.
Your Journey to Goron City:
Goron City is to the northwest. If you haven't been there before, a good starting point is heading west from the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower to find the Woodland Stable. From there, take the road heading north, and then veer northeast when the path splits. Keep heading north at any further forks, and you'll eventually reach Goron City.
Finding and Photographing Daruk:
Once you arrive in Goron City, look for the statues carved into the mountainside. The one you want is on the eastern side. A handy tip: if you've unlocked the Marakuguc Shrine, you can fast travel there and look west. You're looking for the figure with
