Easily farm unlimited Bomb Flowers in Zelda: TOTK by stealing them from Bokoblins. Requires Bokoblin or Majora's Mask, Homing Cart, and Stake.

Where to Find Bomb Flowers:

Bomb Flowers can be purchased in Tarrey Town and Gerudo Town for 40 Rupees each. Gerudo Town access requires completing the Lightning Temple. They can also be bought from Bargainer Statues in the Depths for 16 Poes each. Wild Bomb Flowers are found sporadically in caves and the Depths, but are not plentiful.

How to Easily Farm Bomb Flowers:

This method utilizes Bokoblins carrying items in baskets on their backs. The key is to steal the Bomb Flowers as they are thrown, not from the basket, as these specific enemies have an unlimited supply when throwing.

  • Bokoblin Mask or Majora's Mask (to prevent Bokoblins from attacking).
  • Homing Cart.
  • Stake (optional, but helpful).
  • Dazzlefruits (to disarm bow-wielding enemies).
Walkthrough
  1. 1
Locate a Bokoblin carrying Bomb Flowers, often found near Battle Talus minibosses. Defeat the Battle Talus first.
  2. 2
After defeating the Battle Talus, equip your chosen mask (Bokoblin Mask or Majora's Mask).
  3. 3
Make a manual save and reload it. This should make the Bokoblin passive.
  4. 4
If the Bokoblin has a bow, use a Dazzlefruit to blind it and make it drop the weapon.
  5. 5
Fuse a Stake and a Homing Cart together, with the cart upside down on top of the stake.
  6. 6
Place this contraption on the ground, far enough away to avoid the blast radius of the bombs.
  7. 7
Make another manual save and reload it if the Bokoblin becomes aggressive.
  8. 8
Use an arrow to activate the Homing Cart. The Bokoblin should begin tossing bombs at it.
  9. 9
Position yourself close enough to see the button prompt to take bombs, but not so close that you steal them from the basket. This is your sweet spot.
  10. 10
Mash the button prompt to steal the Bomb Flowers as the Bokoblin throws them.
Tips
  • The Homing Cart has a 30-minute timer before it despawns.
  • A Blood Moon will respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) the Battle Talus and other enemies.
  • Keep an eye on the Bokoblin as it might move, requiring slight adjustments to your position.
  • If the cart is on the ground without a stake, the enemy might approach to melee it.
