- 1Speak to Gralens at Lookout Landing's Emergency Shelter. This quest, along with two other 'Unknown' monster quests, will only be offered after you have completed all three 'Wanted' monster quests.
- 2The Flux Construct I for this quest is located in the Hebra Mountains Sky.
- 3To reach the island, launch from the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Use the floating platforms with Balloons to gain altitude and glide to the island where the boss resides.
- 4Alternatively, if the Ijo-o Shrine is active, fast travel to it. The shrine is located directly above the Flux Construct I's island. Search over the side and glide down. It's advisable to aim for an adjacent area to avoid being immediately thrown into the fight.
- 5Engage the Flux Construct I. Its primary weak spot is a glowing block.
- 6When the boss forms a cube and shoots blocks into the air, use the Recall ability on one of the blocks to ascend and reach the boss's weak spot.
- 7Use Ultrahand to grab the glowing weak block and pull it away from the boss. This will break the boss apart, allowing you to attack it directly.
- 8Repeat this process until the Flux Construct I is defeated.
- 9Return to Gralens to report the completion of the quest.

- The Flux Construct I is the easiest tier of this boss. Its health is lower, and its weak point is generally static.
