Pride of the Gerudo Walkthrough

Complete the Pride of the Gerudo side quest in Tears of the Kingdom! Learn where to find the Gerudo Scimitar, Gerudo Shield, Diamonds, and Flint to craft powerful gear.

Alright, so you've finished the Lightning Temple and the sandstorms have cleared up in the Gerudo Desert. That's great news because it means you can finally tackle 'The Missing Owner' side quest if you haven't already. Once that's done, head over to the accessory store in Gerudo Town and chat with Isha. She's super grateful for your help and wants to craft you a sweet weapon and shield, but she needs you to gather some materials first!

• Diamonds (x4)
• Flint (x10)

Where to Find the Gerudo Scimitar

You can find Gerudo Scimitars scattered around the Gerudo region, sometimes in chests or dropped by Like Likes. But the easiest, most reliable spot is in the Ancient Prison Ruins. You'll find the entrance in the Palu Wasteland. It's full of empty cells and Gibdos, so be ready for a fight. Just search through the cells, and you'll find one lying on the ground. If you've completed 'The Mysterious Eighth' side quest, you'll also find one in the Gerudo Sanctuary.

Where to Find the Gerudo Shield

Similar to the scimitar, you might get lucky and find a Gerudo Shield in a chest or from a Like Like. But if you want a guaranteed one, head up to the Great Cliffs area in the northern part of the desert. Look towards the northeast, and you'll see some tall pillars. There might be some enemies hanging around, so watch out, but one of those pillars has a Gerudo Shield sitting right on top of it. You'll also find one in the Gerudo Sanctuary if you've been there.

Gathering Diamonds and Flint

As for the Flint, you can get that from pretty much any ore deposit you find. Just break them open, and you should get plenty. For the Diamonds, it's a bit trickier, but there are specific spots you can find them. Check out the 'Where to Find Diamonds' guide for the best locations.

Once you've collected all the materials, head back to Isha in Gerudo Town. She'll use them to craft the awesome Scimitar of the Seven and the Daybreaker shield for you, and that's the Pride of the Gerudo quest done!
