The Ancient City Gorondia Walkthrough

To start 'The Ancient City Gorondia!', find the young Goron named Dugby. He is located near the mine cart track leading to Yunobo HQ, uphill from Marakuguc Shrine in Goron City.

Accept the quest from Dugby, who wants to find the legendary hidden city of Gorondia.

Pick up the mine cart next to Dugby and place it on the tracks.

Attach a nearby Fan to the mine cart.

Speak to Dugby again and tell him the cart is ready. He will get in.

Join Dugby in the mine cart and activate the Fan.

After reaching the other side, Dugby will give you a Zonai Charge and leave. This completes the first part of the quest.

To start the second part, 'The Ancient City Gorondia?', you must wait for Dugby to reappear in Goron City. He typically appears next to the Goron City Armor Shop after about two in-game days, though sometimes it may take longer (5-7 days reported by some players). Check back periodically.

Once Dugby reappears, speak with him to start the second part of the quest.

Follow Dugby to the mine cart track near the city gate.

Attach a nearby Fan to the mine cart and place it on the track.

Speak with Dugby and have him get in the mine cart.

Hop in the cart with Dugby and activate the Fan.

As you move, you will encounter rocks blocking the track. You cannot break these with weapons or bombs. Use Ultrahand to pick up the rocks and move them off the track. Be careful not to knock the mine cart off the track, or you will have to restart.

Continue clearing the rocks until you reach the end of the track.

Dugby will continue his search for Gorondia in the new area and reward you with a Large Zonai Charge. This concludes the Gorondia quest line. Following Dugby further may lead to the start of the 'Mine-Cart Land' quest line.
