Learn how to find and complete the Nouda Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This guide covers the Proving Grounds challenge, enemy strategies, and rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Enter the Kopeeki Drifts Cave and head to the right path.
- 2Allow the Ice Like to create ice platforms on the water. Fuse one to a weapon.
- 3Return to the larger cave area and use the fused ice platform to cross the water to the shrine.
- 4Inside the shrine, head immediately right from the weapon pickups.
- 5Use a bow to take out the Construct on the raised platform with a headshot. If unsuccessful, climb the ladder and attack physically.
- 6Pick up all Fire Fruit.
- 7Attach a Fire Fruit to an arrow and shoot the ivy on the wall to the right.
- 8A Shock Emitter will drop. Fuse it to a weapon.
- 9Use the Shock Emitter weapon to quickly defeat the two Constructs that rush you. Pick up any dropped weapons and armor, especially the Spiked-Iron-Ball Hammer.
- 10Gain the attention of the Construct at the bottom of the tiered structure. Dodge its Shock Arrows and attack with the Hammer.
- 11Make your way up the structure and use Ascend on the overhanging platforms to reach the Construct with a bow. Defeat it with the Hammer.
- 12Defeat the second Construct around the corner using the same tactics.
- 13For the final Construct on the lower level, use the Shock Emitter weapon to paralyze it, then attack with the Hammer. Repeat this process, creating distance when necessary, until it is defeated.
- 14Head to the exit and collect the Hearty Elixir from the chest.
- 15Exit the shrine for the Blessing of Light.
Tips
- Fuse an ice platform from the Ice Like to a weapon to cross the icy water in the Kopeeki Drifts Cave.
- Use Fire Fruit to create a flaming arrow to ignite ivy and drop a Shock Emitter.
- The Shock Emitter is highly effective for stunning enemies, especially when fused to a weapon.
- The Spiked-Iron-Ball Hammer is excellent for dealing high physical damage.
- Use Ascend to quickly reach higher platforms within the shrine.
- For the final Construct, a combination of the Shock Emitter for stunning and the Hammer for damage is the most effective strategy.
