Walkthrough
- 1Speak with Kampo outside Lakeside Stable in the Faron region. He will inform you that three Hinox brothers are preventing mining in the nearby lakes and task you with defeating them.
- 2Travel to the three lake caves: Corta Lake Cave, Rodai Lakefront Tunnel, and Calora Lake Cave.
- 3Rodai Lakefront Tunnel (Youngest Brother - Red Hinox): Enter the cave and jump into the hole. Use Brightbloom Seeds to illuminate the dark area. Jump and aim your bow in mid-air to slow time and hit the Hinox in the eye to stun it.
- 4Corta Lake Cave (Middle Brother - Blue Hinox): Enter the cave and jump down the hole. Use a Bomb Flower to break the rock on the west side, creating an updraft. Ride the updraft to the room with the Blue Hinox. Approach it to wake it up and fight. Aim for the eye to stun it.
- 5Calora Lake Cave (Oldest Brother - Black Hinox): Enter the cave and descend into the large hole. Use the exploding barrels around the area to your advantage. You can move them with Ultrahand to position them above the Hinox, then ignite them with an arrow, or ignite them from a distance.
- 6After defeating all three Hinox brothers, return to Lakeside Stable and speak with Kampo.
Tips
- Using the Zora Armor to swim up waterfalls can help you move around the lakes faster.
- In all Hinox fights, jumping and aiming your bow in mid-air slows time, making it easier to hit their eye and stun them.
- For the Black Hinox in Calora Lake Cave, Ultrahand can be used to strategically place exploding barrels for an easier fight.
- Each of the three caves contains a Bubbul Frog, so revisit them after completing the quest.
