Device Dispensers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom resemble gumball or capsule vending machines. You can find your first one on the Great Sky Island, between the In-isa Shrine and Gutanbac Shrine. After using a Zonai fan-powered minecart to reach an elevated island, continue south and look to your right. A Maker Construct may offer a tutorial, but this guide will clarify the process.

Device Dispensers work similarly to cooking pots. You make offerings in a shallow bowl in front of the dispenser, and it will dispense Zonai capsules containing various devices like fans, wings, and flame emitters. These devices can be deployed to areas where they wouldn't normally be available.

To get Zonai capsules, you need to exchange items with the Device Dispenser. The primary forms of currency accepted are Construct Horns and Zonai Charges, both of which are dropped by defeated constructs. These enemies respawn, allowing for farming.

The process of exchanging items is identical to cooking. Access your inventory (), select the item you wish to exchange, and hold them using . Press to increase the number of items held, up to a maximum of five. Press to exit your inventory.
