Follow our step-by-step guide to conquer the Gemimik Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Solve the turbine power puzzle and claim your reward!
Alright, so you've made your way to the Rist Peninsula in Akkala, that cool spiral-shaped bit of land northeast of Tarrey Town. Keep an eye out for Octoroks, Bokoblins, and Aerocudas on your way there. If you're feeling fancy, you could even build a boat with a Fan and Steering Stick to cruise over the water and skip most of the trouble.
- 1When you first step into the Gemimik Shrine, you'll see a central device surrounded by unlit torches. There's another device nearby that's supposed to be channeling electricity, but the connection is broken. Grab the metal board lying around and use your Ultrahand ability to slot it into the gap. This will complete the circuit and get the central device spinning.
- 2Now that the central device is whirring, head over to the ramp. You'll find a propeller on the ground. Pick it up with Ultrahand and attach it to the top of the spinning device. This will create an updraft, letting you use your Paraglider to get some air.
- 3Soar up and look for a ledge on one side of the room. There's a Flame Emitter already active up there. Your goal is to land on this platform, grab the Flame Emitter, and bring it back down to the ground. But before you do that, check out the ledge on the opposite side – that's where the chest is! Fly over, open it up, and you'll snag a Mighty Zonaite Shield.
- 4Once you've got the shield, head back to the Flame Emitter platform and toss one down to the ground. You need to light all the torches, but here's the catch: after a few seconds of lighting them, some sprinklers will pop out and put the flames right back out. Annoying, right?
- 5Don't worry, there's a simple fix! Remember that propeller you used to create the updraft? You can use it for this too. Grab the Flame Emitter and attach it to the top of the propeller. When it spins, it'll light all the torches in one go. Puzzle solved! The door to the Light of Blessing will now open.
- Light of Blessing
