To the Ruins! Walkthrough

After completing the Regional Phenomena main quest and clearing the Lightning Temple, the sand shroud will be lifted from the Gerudo Desert, and Gerudo Town will return to normal. Head to the Sand-Seal Rental Shop, located by the eastern exit of Gerudo Town.

You'll find two NPCs, Pokki and Frelly (the shop owner), chatting near the rental shop. Pokki will mention some large statues in the eastern desert that are all facing each other, and express her curiosity about their exact location. This conversation officially logs the 'To the Ruins!' side quest.

Speak with Pokki again. She'll reiterate her desire to visit the statues and suggest you take her there via a sleigh seal.

Afterward, talk to Frelly, the owner of the Sand-Seal Rental Shop. You'll need to rent a **Sleigh Seal** to proceed. Even though Pokki mentioned exploration expenses being covered, you'll still need to pay the standard rental fee of 50 rupees.

Once you rent the sleigh seal, you'll find yourself just outside the eastern gate of Gerudo Town. Locate Pokki, who will be waiting just inside the gate. Talk to her and let her know you're ready to depart.

The sand-seal will begin moving automatically. You can press the [A] button to activate its dash for faster travel. Your destination is the East Gerudo Ruins, situated north of the East Gerudo Chasm. If you examine your map and zoom in, you'll notice structures in this area that appear to be oriented towards each other, matching Pokki's description.

Your journey should be relatively uneventful, so focus on avoiding any enemies you might encounter along the way.

Upon arriving at the East Gerudo Ruins, Pokki will dismount the sleigh, and you'll get a brief view of the statues. This marks the conclusion of the 'To the Ruins!' side quest.
