Discover how to obtain the complete Phantom Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This guide details the locations of the Phantom Helmet, Phantom Armor, and Phantom Greaves.

The Phantom Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a challenging but rewarding collection of armor. This guide will walk you through finding each piece: the Phantom Armor, Phantom Greaves, and Phantom Helmet.

Phantom Armor Location:

  1. Head to the Tamio River Downstream Cave, located south of the Tamio River and northeast of the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower.
  2. Clear out the Horriblins inside.
  3. At a split in the path, take the left path to find a Bubbulfrog. The right path leads to a large room.
  4. In this room, you will encounter Gloom Hands. You do not need to defeat them; instead, lure them up a ramp on the side and then jump off the ledge to get them stuck below.
  5. Look for a ledge on the opposite side of the room with an altar. The chest containing the Phantom Armor is behind this altar. You will need to break a rock wall to access a hill leading to the chest.

Phantom Greaves Location:

  1. Travel to the eastern side of the desert, specifically the East Barrens.
  2. Locate the twelve sand pits that lead underground. All lead to the Ancient Altar Ruins, but only one specific pit leads to the armor.
  3. The correct sand pit is the one just north of the southernmost sand pit on your map.
  4. This pit leads to an enclosed section of the cave containing the chest with the Phantom Greaves. The Bubbulfrog is also in this chamber.

Phantom Helmet Location:

  1. Go to the Puffer Beach area in the Faron region.
  2. Look for a large overhang. The entrance to the Puffer Beach Overhead Cave is an opening in the ceiling of this overhang.
  3. To reach the entrance, use a Zonai device like a Rocket attached to a shield, or a Spring or Balloon. A Rocket can be found near the entrance.
  4. Once inside, defeat the Horriblins and enter the adjacent small room to find the chest with the Phantom Helmet.

Notes on the Phantom Set:

  • Each piece of the Phantom Set provides an Attack Up bonus.
  • The set does not have a set bonus.
  • The armor pieces cannot be upgraded at the Great Fairies.
  • Despite not being upgradeable, the Phantom Set offers one of the highest base defense values in the game.
