Follow this walkthrough for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to complete the Treasure Hunters side quest, find a chest, and learn about Misko.

This is a straightforward side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that you can tackle anytime. It doesn't have any tough requirements, and honestly, the reward isn't much to write home about. Think of it as a little introduction to finding more valuable treasures later on.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
To kick things off, you need to find Rauru Hillside. It's across the water, northeast of Hyrule Castle. If you've visited Woodland Stable, you'll probably know where Ekochiu Shrine is – fast travel there if you can.
  2. 2
Head south from the shrine onto the path, and then take a left (west) at the intersection. Keep going until you reach the Rauru Settlement Ruins.
  3. 3
Once you're at the ruins, look north. You'll see a bog, and overlooking it is a character named Domidak. Talk to him to start the quest.
  4. 4
Domidak and another character, !Prissen, will explain they're treasure hunters but can't figure out how to reach the treasure chest sitting out in the bog because there's no safe place to stand. This is your chance to grab it first!
  5. 5
Look to the south of the bog for a !Hudson Construction materials cache. You'll want to use your Ultrahand ability here. Grab the two largest, longest planks of wood and fuse them together.
  6. 6
Pick up your makeshift bridge and carry it towards the bog, placing it down on the rocks so you can walk across. It won't reach the chest directly, but it'll get you close enough.
  7. 7
Walk to the end of your plank bridge. Use Ultrahand again to grab the chest and then drop it onto the bridge next to you.
  8. 8
Unfortunately, the chest only contains three Bomb Flowers. It seems like nobody really lost out on anything valuable.
  9. 9
Head back to Domidak and !Prissen overlooking the bog. They'll notice you got the chest and accidentally let slip some info about a legendary Bandit Treasure Hunter named Misko. This is your intro to the Misko Treasure questline, which offers much better rewards like unique armor.
Tips
  • Don't worry about building a super fancy bridge; two large planks fused together are all you need to reach the chest.
  • The main takeaway from this quest is the introduction to Misko, so pay attention to that dialogue!
