Complete guide to unlocking all five wind turbine locks in the Wind Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Learn how to navigate the ship and solve puzzles to progress.
Walkthrough
- 1Activate the Ouroboros Statue: Upon landing on the ship, interact with the Ouroboros statue to set a teleport point and trigger a cutscene. This activates one lock, leaving five to find.
- 2Wind Turbine 1 - Upper Stern: Navigate to the stern of the ship. Use Ultrahand to pull a lever to open a gate. Defeat the construct inside and grab the Flame-emitter Spear and treasure chest. Use Ultrahand to move an icicle to a lever across from you to open another gate. Inside, use Tulin's Gust on the wind turbine to unlock it.
- 3Wind Turbine 2 - Ships Propeller: Return to the center and ride a gust upwards. Fly to the tallest part of the ship. Use Ultrahand to pull open large doors leading to the propeller area. Glide down, managing your glider with the air current, to a room on the south end containing the next wind turbine. Activate it with Tulin's Gust. A chest with a Soldier Blade is across the propeller room. Teleport back to the start.
- 4Wind Turbine 3 - Bottom of The Ship: Glide towards the center of the ship and land near a damaged opening at the bottom. Defeat the construct inside and activate the wind turbine with Gust. A treasure chest is in the left corner. Warp back to the start.
- 5Wind Turbine 4 - Left Basement: Go to the left side of the ship. Glide down to an opening covered in icicles. Smash the icicles and proceed. Use Recall on a windmill to move to the other side. In the next room, pull a lever to open the ship door. Use your bow to shoot hanging icicles, then use Ultrahand to connect them to gears to open a gate. Inside, use Gust on the wind turbine. Teleport back to the start.
- 6Wind Turbine 5 - Right Basement: Go to the right side of the ship, near the stern. Enter through an opening in the side. Defeat the Keese and construct. Use Gust to cross a hole. In a room with broken walls, use Ascend at the back to reach the second floor. Follow the hallway on the right, attach a broken wall piece to a moveable pole with Ultrahand.
