Class Features Explained:

Instinctual Warrior Proficiencies

An Instinctual Warrior is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, as well as light and heavy shields.

Fervent Reflexes

An Instinctual Warrior adds his Wisdom modifier to initiative checks, allowing for quicker reactions in combat.

Focused Rage

Starting at 1st level, an Instinctual Warrior can enter a rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Wisdom modifier. This duration increases by 2 rounds for each class level after 1st. Rage is a free action to activate. While raging, the character gains a +2 bonus to attack rolls and Wisdom, and gains 2 temporary hit points per hit die. Ending the rage is also a free action, but the character becomes fatigued for 1 minute afterward.

Cunning Elusion

When unarmored and not wielding a shield, an Instinctual Warrior adds his Wisdom bonus to his Armor Class (AC) and Combat Maneuver Defense (CMD). This bonus increases by +1 at 4th level and every four subsequent levels, reaching a maximum of +5 at 20th level.

Rage Power (Instinctual Warrior)

In addition to standard Barbarian Rage Powers, an Instinctual Warrior can select Monk abilities and Ki powers. These include Deflect Arrows (requires Improved Unarmed Strike), Purity of Body (requires 8th level), Diamond Body (requires 12th level), Diamond Soul (requires 16th level), and Perfect Self (requires 20th level).

Greater Focused Rage (Instinctual Warrior)

At 11th level, the Instinctual Warrior's bonuses while raging increase: the bonus to attack rolls and Wisdom becomes +3, and he gains +3 temporary hit points per hit die.

Unparalleled Senses

At 18th level, an Instinctual Warrior gains blindsense with a range of 30 feet and blindsight with a range of 15 feet, significantly improving his awareness of his surroundings.

Mighty Focused Rage (Instinctual Warrior)

At 20th level, the Instinctual Warrior reaches the pinnacle of his rage. The bonus to attack rolls and Wisdom while raging increases to +4, and he gains +4 temporary hit points per hit die.
