Navigate Synergy's Vendor Trash episode by making morality choices that affect your alignment. Learn how dialogue with Strongarm and Z-Team impacts your path to.
Morality choices throughout the Synergy episode significantly impact your hero's alignment, leading to either an Antihero or True Hero path. Dialogue options during confrontations, such as with Strongarm or the cut member of Z-Team, present opportunities to gain +1 Antihero or +1 True Hero points. Additionally, critical decisions regarding the Astral Pulse and prototype can alter the scene's outcome, especially depending on your relationship with Invisigal.
You will encounter several morality choices:
- After additional dialogue options:
- No way (+1 Antihero)
- You do it (+1 Antihero)
- Fine, alright (+1 True Hero)
- If you broke Strongarm's arms, he will appear, and you can answer:
- Come and claim it. (+1 True Hero)
- You're trash./ I shoulda dropped you. (+1 Antihero)
- Where's Shroud? (+1 True Hero)
After the Royd fighting cutscene, Robert joins. When Shroud appears, complete quicktimes (missing them won't affect the story). Choose between dialogue options (no consequences):
- Can we skip this part?
- Predict me beating your a***
- Hard to do when you’re dead
Choose attack types (these affect visuals, not the story).
When attacked by the cut member of Z-Team (Coupé or Sonar), the dialogue options are the same (Morality choice):
- It wasn't personal. (+1 True Hero)
- Looks like I was right. (+1 Antihero)
- I'm sorry. (+1 True Hero)
Once Shroud emerges from his mech:
- Please don't do this.
- Hurt him and you die.
- I'll do whatever you want.
Make tough decisions that can differ based on relationships with Invisigal and Blazer:
- Options 1 (Will be remembered -- affects how the scene plays out):
- GIVE HIM THE ASTRAL PULSE
- GIVE HIM BOTH (results in him getting the prototype)
- GIVE HIM THE PROTOTYPE (results in him just taking the real astral pulse)
There are two outcomes depending on your relationship with Invisigal:
- OUTCOME 1: Bad Mentor ("Neglected" Invisigal): If you failed to build trust with Invisigal (e.g., did not romance her or help her), she will appear and kill Shroud, preventing your opportunity for vengeance/justice.
