    Reach Mohgwyn Palace:
    • Pureblood Knight’s Medal Route: Complete White-Faced Varré’s questline to obtain the Pureblood Knight’s Medal. Use this item in your inventory to be transported to the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum.

    Consecrated Snowfield Route: Obtain both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right and Left). Use the Grand Lift of Rold to show the Haligtree Medallion, which will take you to the Consecrated Snowfield. Head northwest from the Yelough Anix Ruins to find a teleporter to Mohgwyn Palace.

    Defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood: Once in Mohgwyn Palace, proceed to defeat the boss.

    Activate the Great Rune: Travel to the Divine Tower of East Altus, located southeast of Leyndell, Royal City. To reach it, head east from the Castle Ramparts to a lift. Instead of going down to the Forbidden Lands, take the southeast exit and follow the bridge. You will need to defeat the Fell Twins boss on the bridge to access the tower and activate Mohg’s Great Rune.

What Mohg’s Great Rune Does:

Mohg’s Great Rune allows you to use the Blessing of Blood. This blessing works on all Spirit Ashes and can also affect monsters and bosses if you invade another player’s world. The Blessing of Blood restores your health whenever a summoned spirit (or an enemy/boss when invading) kills another enemy or player. Additionally, if blood loss is inflicted, your spirits will receive a temporary damage buff. When invading a player, you will also receive three temporary items called Phantom Great Runes, which buff nearby enemies and bosses.
