Elden Ring: Find & Complete Kingsrealm Ruins

The Kingsrealm Ruins are located in the northwestern part of Liurnia. To get there, travel through the central lake towards Raya Lucaria Academy, then head west to the shore. Follow the road north past the Foot of the Four Belfries and Northern Lucaria Lake Shore Sites of Grace.

The ruins themselves are primarily a landmark on the way to Caria Manor. They are inhabited by Aristocrats who cast spells and teleport, and packs of Wolves. The main points of interest within the ruins are:

Liurnia Map: West: Found at a monument northeast of the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace.
Frozen Needle: Obtained after defeating the optional Royal Revenant boss.

Completing the Kingsrealm Ruins

There are two main objectives within the Kingsrealm Ruins:

Accessing Caria Manor: At the northern end of the ruins, strike the brick-filled archway to dispel an illusory wall. This opens the path to the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and War Counselor Iji. Alternatively, you can bypass this by carefully jumping the cliffs to the northwest.
Defeating the Royal Revenant: In the southern part of the ruins, head upstairs and northeast along the arches. Turn southeast and follow the path until you find a ghost. Next to the ghost is a hole in the wall. Go through it, continue southeast, jump over a wall, and land on a lower stone floor. Strike the center of this floor (a jumping heavy attack is recommended) to reveal a staircase. Descend to find a mist wall leading to the Royal Revenant, an optional boss.

Royal Revenant Boss Fight

The Royal Revenant is an aggressive enemy that teleports and can inflict significant poison buildup. It is weak to most forms of damage except holy. While it has many attacks, its health is relatively low. Summoning allies can make the fight easier. Defeating it yields runes and allows access to a chest containing the Frozen Needle.

War Counselor Iji

War Counselor Iji, a merchant who upgrades armaments and sells Somber Smithing Stones, can be found north of the Kingsrealm Ruins, near the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. You can reach him by dispelling the illusory wall or by jumping the cliffs.
