Here's a quick rundown of the weapons you can snag in the Lake of Rot:

• Scorpion’s Stinger — Found in a chest near the Grandcloister site of grace.
• Dragonscale Blade — Dropped by the Dragonkin Soldier near the Worshipper’s Woods site of grace.
• Alabaster Lord’s Sword — Dropped by an Alabaster Lord on the platforms in the center of the Lake of Rot.
• Bastard’s Stars — Obtained from the Remembrance of the Naturalborn, dropped by Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.

Scorpion’s Stinger

This dagger is nasty because it applies Scarlet Rot, which is super useful against a lot of tough enemies. To grab it, you first need to make your way to the Grand Cloister site of grace. You'll see a big temple-like structure with huge statues marking the entrance – that's your goal. Once you're at the grace, carefully make your way down using the ledges. When you finally reach the bottom, head west. You should spot a chest there containing the Scorpion's Stinger.

Dragonscale Blade

Next up is the Dragonscale Blade. This bad boy is dropped by a Dragonkin Soldier. You might have already run into one of these guys in Siofra River, but this one is chilling near the Worshipper’s Woods site of grace. The tricky part here is the red water that causes Scarlet Rot. To avoid it, you'll want to raise the four platforms around the Dragonkin Soldier. There's a pressure plate to the east of him that does the trick. Once you've got the platforms up and can move around safely, take him down. He'll drop the Dragonscale Blade upon defeat.

Alabaster Lord’s Sword

Looking for a Great Sword? The Alabaster Lord's Sword is your prize. You'll find the Alabaster Lord wielding it on the platforms smack-dab in the middle of the Lake of Rot. Getting to these platforms is a bit of a puzzle. You'll need to activate the same button that raises the platforms for the Dragonkin Soldier fight – remember, that's the one to the east of where he spawns. Once those platforms are up, you can hop across to reach the Alabaster Lord and claim his sword.

Bastard’s Stars

For the Bastard's Stars flail, you're going to need to defeat a specific boss and then trade in his Remembrance. The flail itself is obtained by exchanging the Remembrance of the Naturalborn at the Roundtable Hold. This Remembrance is the reward for beating Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. Astel is hidden away in a secret area, and you'll need to find a coffin near the edge of the waterfall by the Grand Cloister site of grace to access it. It's a bit of a trek, but totally worth it for this unique weapon.
