    From the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, head northwest down the stairs.

    Enter the open area, head west, and hug the railing until you can jump onto roofs to your left.

    Jump down to the roofs, then drop to the right and turn around to face north. You'll see a well behind a dilapidated wall.

    Take the ladder down the well, grab the Rune Arc from the corpse at the end of the corridor, and return.

    Open the gate, proceed to the next area, and take the next ladder down.

    Follow the damp corridors northeast until the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds text appears.

    To find the Underground Roadside Site of Grace: Defeat the rats, then head through the southeastern door. Look below where two Omens patrol. You can fight them or run past.

    Take the ladder down in front of you and head northeast down the hall. Take your first left into the room with a summoning statue opposite it to find the Underground Roadside Site of Grace.

    From the Underground Roadside Site of Grace, you can go two ways: one leads to Dung Eater, the other to a room with pipes and imps.

    Southeast of Underground Roadside (Pipe Room): Exit the Site of Grace room and head southeast. Take the ladder hidden against the wall to your right, leading down.

    Follow the pipes, dealing with imps. Be aware of imps hanging from pipes above that can ambush you.

    Loot the corpse on the first wooden platform for 10x Serpent Arrow.

    Continue to the next wooden platform, where up to four imps guard a corpse with 5x Fire Grease.

    Follow a pipe back northeast towards the pipe where an imp was hanging near the wall to the northwest. Loot the corpse for a Somber Smithing Stone [6].

    Follow the pipe southwest. Another imp will rush you and throw projectiles. Engage it, then jump onto the raised platform and loot the corpse to your right for a Smithing Stone [7].

    Go through the southwestern archway and head up the stairs. Be cautious of an Omen to your left near a corpse containing the Shadow Bait incantation. To your right is a shortcut back to the Site of Grace.
Tips
  • Omens have a lot of health, deal high damage, and are agile. Ranged attacks can be effective from a distance, but they can climb ladders.
  • If you don't want to fight the Omens, you can run past them to reach the Site of Grace.
  • Imps can ambush you from pipes. Keep an eye out for them, especially those hanging above. Using ranged attacks to make them drop can help.
  • If you have a shield, it can be useful for blocking imp projectiles.
  • The shortcut back to the Site of Grace is located to the right of the stairs after dealing with the Omen and looting the Shadow Bait incantation.
