    From The First Step Site of Grace, head northwest to the Church of Elleh. Activate the Church of Elleh Site of Grace.

    Follow the road northeast to the Gatefront Ruins. Rest at the Gatefront Site of Grace to receive the Spectral Steed Whistle from Melina, allowing you to summon your mount, Torrent.

    Summon Torrent and follow the road southeast. Cross a bridge, then turn north at a fork, continuing northeast to the Third Church of Marika. You can evade enemies like Kaiden Sellswords and a Troll-drawn carriage by keeping your distance. Ignore Kenneth Haight's calls. Ride past the Troll outside the church.

    From the Third Church of Marika, follow the road south, then southeast into the Mistwood. You may encounter a Lesser Runebear and Demi-Humans near a sacked wagon; ride past them. You can find the Map: Limgrave, East near a monument.

    Locate the ruins to the right of the road and listen for a wolf howling. You do not need to explore the ruins or dismount.

    Return to the Church of Elleh and speak to Kale. Choose the option “About the howling in Mistwood” to learn the Gesture: Finger Snap.
