How to Find Albus and Complete His Quest

Alright, Tarnished! So, you're looking to track down Albus and get that questline rolling? It's a pretty important meeting, even if it's a short one, because it kicks off a path to a secret area way up north. First things first, we need to get you to the Village of the Albinaurics. It's a bit tricky to find on the map because of how Elden Ring handles different elevations, and you'll need to approach it from the lake.

The best way to find it is to head southwest from the Raya Lucaria Academy. Keep an eye out, and you should stumble upon the Folly on the Lake Site of Grace. Once you're there, pull up your map. You'll see some land to the southwest – make your way over there. Eventually, you'll find a slope that leads you under a bridge, and that's your entrance to the Village of the Albinaurics. Don't forget to grab the Site of Grace you find there! From this new Site of Grace, look for a slope going upwards. There's a tough enemy, a Depraved Perfumer, chilling near a tree. It's a good idea to take them down, maybe even get a Backstab on them if you can, but watch out for their Incantations.

Once you've dealt with the perfumer, head south from the Folly on the Lake Site of Grace. Ignore the bridge for now and make your way to the edge of the path. You should spot a coffin and, more importantly, a large pot. Give that pot a roll! Turns out, it's not just a pot – it's Albus hiding inside. Speak with him, and he'll hand over the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right). He'll also mention that another Albinauric named Latenna knows where the other half of the medallion is. This is a super important Key Item; collecting both halves lets you activate a lift later on, opening up a totally optional area in the Mountaintops of the Giants. After you've got the medallion piece, chat with Albus one last time. He'll say his goodbyes, his job done.
