    Reach the Ravine-Veiled Village Site of Grace by following the ravine northeast from Liurnia's northern cliffs.

    Before climbing the ladders, search an abandoned shack for a Smithing Stone (5).

    North of the shack, near the waterfall, kill a scarab to obtain the Ash of War: Barbaric Roar. Be cautious of Giant Bats.

    Climb the ladders to enter a mine. Inside, climb another ladder and defeat Miners for Smithing Stone (4).

    Proceed through a passage into a cavern. Beware of Vulgar Militiamen and poison gas traps (piles of spiked metal balls). Hug the right wall to avoid traps.
