How to Reach Deeproot Depths

Alright Tarnished, ready to explore one of Elden Ring's more hidden areas? Deeproot Depths is a bit out of the way, but totally worth the trek. There are actually two main ways to get there, and I'll walk you through both. Don't worry, it's not as complicated as it sounds!

Siofra Aqueduct Access to Deeproot Depths

This is probably the most straightforward way to get there. First things first, you absolutely must have beaten Starscourge Radahn. That's the key that unlocks Nokron, Eternal City. Once you're in Nokron, you'll want to make your way to the Siofra Aqueduct. It's located north of an area called Hallowhorn Grounds. When you get there, you'll need to do a little bit of platforming.

Look for the Aqueduct-facing Cliffs site of grace. It's up a cliff, north of Hallowhorn Grounds. From there, you'll be able to jump down into some ruins below. Just follow a pretty linear path down through a ruined hall. Eventually, you'll hit a fog gate. Push through it, and you'll find yourself facing the Valiant Gargoyle & Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade) boss fight. It's a tough one, so be prepared!

Once you've managed to defeat those gargoyles (good job!), you'll be able to head to the Great Waterfall Basin site of grace. Right near there, you'll spot a coffin. Interact with it, climb inside, and it'll act like a teleporter, whisking you away to Deeproot Depths. Easy peasy!

Hidden Passage to Deeproot Depths

There's another way to get to Deeproot Depths, and it involves a bit of a secret. You can access it via a hidden passage that's located near an altar. Where is this altar, you ask? It's in Mohg, the Omen’s boss arena, which is deep within the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. We're still gathering the exact details on how to navigate this path, so keep an eye out for updates!
