It temporarily hardens your shield, letting you block stronger hits without losing as much stamina or taking that annoying chip damage. It's a lifesaver against bosses who hit like trucks.

To get it, you'll need to face off against the Night's Cavalry. This boss only shows up when it's nighttime, and it patrols the road right by the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace. If you get there during the day, no worries! Just rest at the Site of Grace and choose to pass the time until nightfall. Once night hits, head out onto the road near the rampart, and you should find the Night's Cavalry. Defeat it, and the Ash of War is yours!

Next on our list is the Ash of War: Mighty Shot. This one is great for archers or anyone who likes to keep their distance. It lets you fire off a much more powerful arrow that can even knock back some enemies. Pretty neat, right?

You'll find this Ash of War dropped by a Teardrop Scarab. These little guys can be a bit tricky because they'll try to run away! This particular one hangs out on the road just north of the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace. As soon as you spot it, you'll want to chase it down and defeat it quickly. If it gets away, don't stress! Just head back to the Site of Grace, pass the time, and it should respawn. It only takes a couple of hits to take it down, so be ready!
