Walkthrough
- 1Locate the Gatefront Ruins: Head northeast from the Church of Ellah, following the main road. The ruins will be situated along this path.
- 2Obtain the Map: Continue on the road through the ruins until you reach a fork. Head northeast towards the Stormgate and look for a monument. The Map: Limgrave, West is at its base.
- 3Loot the Carriages: Along the road, you'll find two large carriages. The northern carriage contains a Lordsworn's Greatsword, and the southern carriage holds a Flail. Be aware of the Godrick Soldiers guarding them.
- 4Find the Cellar Loot: In the southern part of the ruins, locate a set of stairs leading underground. Descend into the cellar to find a chest containing the Ash of War: Storm Stomp and the Whetstone Knife.
- 5Get the Spectral Steed Whistle: Find the Gatefront Site of Grace off to the right of the road as you head towards the Stormgate. Rest at the Site of Grace, and Melina will appear, giving you the Spectral Steed Whistle.
Tips
- The Gatefront Ruins are populated by approximately a dozen Godrick Soldiers, including a Godrick Knight. Many can be backstabbed if approached stealthily.
- The Godrick Soldier with a horn on the western road can alert other enemies if not dealt with quickly and quietly.
- At night, Giant Bats may appear outside the ruins.
- Wolves can be found in the southern section of the ruins.
