Discover all the key locations in Elden Ring's Deeproot Depths, including map fragments, Sites of Grace, and important landmarks. Your guide to exploring this hidden area.

Alright, Tarnished! Deeproot Depths is a pretty wild place, and finding your way around can be a bit tricky. Let's break down all the important spots so you don't get lost amongst the roots. We'll cover where to find the map fragment, all the Sites of Grace, and some key landmarks and bosses you'll encounter.

Deeproot Depths Map Fragment Location

First things first, you'll want to grab the map fragment. It's located right in the heart of the area. Keep an eye out for a gazebo smack-dab in the middle of the ruins. Just loot the corpse you find there, and you'll have the map fragment in hand.

All Sites of Grace in Deeproot Depths

Here's a rundown of all the Sites of Grace you'll find scattered throughout Deeproot Depths. These are your checkpoints, so make sure you activate them as you find them!

  • Great Waterfall Crest: You'll find this one in the southwest part of Deeproot Depths. If you arrived here using the coffin teleporter from Siofra Aqueduct, this will be your very first Site of Grace.
  • Deeproot Depths: This Site of Grace is in the southeast region, overlooking a massive waterfall.
  • The Nameless Eternal City: Located in the central part of Deeproot Depths, west of that gazebo where you found the map fragment.
  • Across the Roots: You'll find this one nestled amongst the roots in the northeast section of the area.
  • Root-Facing Cliffs: This one is a bit hidden. You can access it via two secret walls after you've made your way to the Frenzied Flame Proscription.
  • Prince of Death’s Throne: Also in the northeast, but further up from 'Across the Roots'. This Site of Grace only appears after you've defeated Fia's Champions.

Great Waterfall Crest

As mentioned, this Site of Grace is in the southeast. It's your first stop if you came via the Siofra Aqueduct coffin. Right near here, you'll face the Erdtree Avatar, which drops the Staff of the Avatar. You'll also find a rolling ball nearby containing the Ash of War: Golden Land. Definitely worth grabbing!

The Nameless Eternal City

This central Site of Grace is a good landmark. If you head northeast from here, following the roots upwards, you'll eventually encounter the Crucible Knight Siluria. Defeating him yields the Crucible Tree Armor Set, so it's a worthwhile detour.

Deeproot Depths

This Site of Grace is in the southwest, near some huge roots and overlooking that big waterfall. If you hang out near the edge of the cliff here, you'll find a Palmreader. Might be worth checking what they have to say!

Prince of Death’s Throne

This is a big one, located in the northeast. You'll get here by going through a tunnel in the roots from the 'Across the Roots' Site of Grace. This is where you'll wrap up Fia's questline, fight Fia's Champions, and then face the mighty Fortissax Lichdragon. The Site of Grace itself won't show up until *after* you've beaten Fia's Champions. Once you've cleared the area, you can also snag the Inseparable Sword, Twinned Armor, Fia’s Robe, and Fia’s Hood if you've met the requirements.
