Learn how to find and complete the Earthbore Cave in Elden Ring's Weeping Peninsula. Discover its location, enemies, and the Spelldrake Talisman reward.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Locate the Earthbore Cave entrance on the northern edge of the Weeping Peninsula, east of the Demi-Human Forest Ruins and west of the Forest Lookout Tower. Approach from the east along the cliff edge.
  2. 2
Enter the cave and activate the Earthbore Cave Site of Grace. Bring a Torch or Lantern as the cave is very dark.
  3. 3
Head southwest from the Site of Grace to a chamber with a chest. Be careful of a cracked floor in front of the chest; stepping on it will cause you to fall into a rat den. Loot the chest by circling the cracked floor to obtain 3x Pickled Turtle Neck.
  4. 4
If you didn't fall, proceed northwest through a passage, defeating any Rats encountered. Continue through the linear tunnels until you reach the rat den. Defeat the Rats and the Giant Rat.
  5. 5
From the rat den, take a tunnel southeast, defeat two more Rats, and loot corpses for a Glowstone and 5x Kukri.
  6. 6
Continue southwest to find a pit with ledges for a safe descent. Note that you cannot return to the top without defeating the boss.
  7. 7
Descend the pit and follow the linear passage to a chamber containing a slumbering Runebear.
  8. 8
Defeat the Runebear boss to obtain the Spelldrake Talisman.
  9. 9
After defeating the Runebear, you can teleport back to the beginning of the dungeon.
Tips
  • The Runebear is an optional boss.
  • The Runebear is somewhat weak to physical (slash) and fire damage.
  • Use summons to draw aggro during the Runebear fight.
  • Dodge towards the Runebear to utilize invincibility frames and position yourself for counter-attacks, especially in the cramped space.
  • The Runebear often starts asleep, allowing for free hits at the beginning of the fight.
  • Be aware of the weak floor in front of the chest containing Pickled Turtle Neck.
  • Spelldrake Talisman (from Runebear boss)
  • 3x Pickled Turtle Neck (from chest)
  • Golden Rune (1), Rune Arc (from Giant Rat/Rats)
  • Glowstone, 5x Kukri (from corpses)
